I'm not gonna deny that the PC has done some pretty stupid things so far but I think you need to have some perspective on what they've gone through; They woke up with no memories of their past, an 'ominous voice' projecting harmful ideas directly into their head, is treated with disdain and disgust by practically everyone except Ranok, has gained the inexplicable ability to understand any spoken language, has the constant looming threat of being executed by an almost entirely hostile tribal community, etc etc
So to me their emotional outbursts, lack of rationale and heavy dependency on others is pretty unsurprising given the circumstances
